Distances from the Mothership varied, with the maximum distance being &gt;10Km from the second ship to the Mothership, and &lt;2Km from the RHIB to the Mothership.<\/p><p>Using 2W IP Mesh radios, operating at 10MHz bandwidth, in C band (4800-5000MHz), with 3dBi omni antennae, data throughput across the small IP Mesh network was stable at 11mbps, far exceeding the required minimum of 3mbps, while the Starlink up and downlink also far exceeded this requirement. Users on all three vessels enjoyed seamless, uninterrupted, high speed internet access, as well as high quality video and audio.<\/p><p>Live tracking, and event management was provided by the Scytalys MIMS Ranger Marine Interdiction Operations (MIO) plug-in, running on rugged Android devices, connected over the Hypha Mesh radios, via the integral Wi Fi on every Hypha Mesh IP Mesh radio, streamed live to Marine Police HQ and Navy HQ.<\/p><p>This exercise further cements our position as the premier IP Mesh Maritime\/SATCOM solution provider, delivering high speed ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore network connectivity at sea, and wherever communications are required, in the most demanding environments, and in the absence of any public infrastructure
